The Magruder Colonels (Rockville, MD) basketball nipped the visiting Springbrook Blue Devils (Silver Spring, MD), 32-30 in Monday's non-league test.
The Colonels (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Seneca Valley (Germantown, MD). The Screamin' Eagles go into the non-league test with a 10-3 record. In their last test, Seneca Valley got by Richard Montgomery (Rockville, MD), 53-50, in a non-league test.
The Blue Devils now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Rockville for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 23. Springbrook will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 40-23 non-league loss to Quince Orchard (Gaithersburg, MD). The Rams record now stands at 2-6.
