Ohio High School Basketball - Northwest can't hold off Washington

January 22, 2024: Massillon, OH 44646

The Washington Tigers basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Northwest Indians to 47 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Tigers now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Firestone for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 24. Washington will battle a Falcons team coming off a 50-15 league win over East (Akron, OH). The Falcons record now stands at 7-8.

The Indians (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Triway (Wooster, OH). The Titans enter the Principals contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Triway nudged Crestview (Ashland, OH), 77-14, in a non-league contest.
