The St. Michael Academy basketball team scored 39 points and held the host Pellston Hornets to 30 in the non-league triumph on Monday.
The now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Michigan Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 25. St. Michael Academy will meet a Comets team coming off a 63-42 non-league win over Posen (Posen, MI). The Comets record now stands at 8-3.
The Hornets (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Central Lake (Central Lake, MI). The Trojans enter the Ski-Valley contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, Central Lake ran past Forest Area (Fife Lake, MI), 47-39, in a league contest.
