Maine High School Basketball - Winthrop trounces Traip

The Winthrop Ramblers (Winthrop, ME) basketball crushed the visiting Traip Rangers (Kittery, ME), 43-22 in Monday's league test.
The Ramblers (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Madison (Madison, ME). The Bulldogs go into the C South test with a 11-0 record. In their last test, Madison walloped Oak Hill (Sabattus, ME), 60-14, in a non-league test.
The Rangers now own a 0-12 record. They play next when they host Waynflete for a non-league test on Friday, January 26. Traip will encounter a Flyers squad coming off a 53-21 non-league loss to North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME). The Flyers record now stands at 8-3.
