McIntosh Chiefs (Peachtree City, GA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Trinity Christian Lions (Sharpsburg, GA), 33-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, McIntosh upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Chiefs travel to Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 25. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 8-1. Fayette County won 66-47 in their recent non-league bout against Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Holy Innocents Episcopal Golden Bears (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Trinity Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The Golden Bears go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 78-41 non-league loss to Marietta (Marietta, GA).
