The Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the host Berean Christian Bulldogs to 31 in the Mavericks non-league victory on Monday.

The Mavericks now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calvary Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. Archbishop McCarthy will battle a Eagles team coming off a 71-61 league loss to St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 14-7.

The Bulldogs (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Inlet Grove (Riviera Beach, FL). The Hurricanes come into the non-league contest with a 8-4 record.
