The Central Knights basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Woonsocket Villa Novans to 34 in the Knights non-league victory on Monday.

With the victory, Central upgrades its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 10-0. Bishop Hendricken won 55-43 in their recent non-league bout against La Salle Academy (Providence, RI)

Next up, the Villa Novans play the La Salle Academy Rams (Providence, RI) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 24. Woonsocket will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 55-43 non-league loss to Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI).
