The San Leandro Pirates basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Fortune Early College Panthers to 39 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Monday.

The Pirates now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Castro Valley for a contest on Wednesday, January 24. San Leandro will meet a Trojans team coming off a 57-43 league loss to Berkeley (Berkeley, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-7.

The Panthers (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against John Adams Academy (Roseville, CA). The Patriots enter the contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, John Adams Academy was routed by Westlake Charter (Sacramento, CA), 57-52, in a league contest.
