Pine Bush Bushmen (Pine Bush, NY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting New Paltz Huguenots (New Paltz, NY), 59-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pine Bush upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Bushmen host Newburgh Free Academy (Newburgh, NY) to clash with the Goldbacks in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Goldbacks go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Newburgh Free Academy lost 39-27 in their recent non-league bout against Monroe-Woodbury (Central Valley, NY)

Next up, the Huguenots clash with the Wallkill Panthers (Wallkill, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. New Paltz will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 58-33 non-league loss to Rondout Valley (Accord, NY).
