Next, the Panthers face the Stephenville Yellow Jackets/Honeybees (Stephenville, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 26. Permian will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Yellow Jackets/Honeybees enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Diamond Hill-Jarvis (Fort Worth, TX).

The Matadors now have a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Liberty for a challenge on Tuesday, January 30.
