Illinois High School Basketball - Edinburg bests Brownstown/St. Elmo

The Edinburg Wildcats basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Brownstown/St. Elmo Eagles to 45 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Wildcats now possess a 18-2 record. They play next when they host Lutheran for a MSM game on Friday, January 24. Edinburg will play a Crusaders team coming off a 51-44 league loss to Lincolnwood (Raymond, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-15.
With the loss, Brownstown/St. Elmo falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Mulberry Grove (Mulberry Grove, IL) to play the Aces in a Egyptian Illini game on Friday, January 24. The Aces go into the game with a record of 8-14. Mulberry Grove won 64-55 in their recent non-league game against Maryville Christian (Maryville, IL)
