The Griffith Panthers basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Hanover Central Wildcats to 54 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Panthers now possess a 10-5 record. They play next when they host River Forest for a Greater South Shore game on Friday, January 24. Griffith will confront a Ingots team coming off a 64-62 league loss to Hammond Bishop Noll (Hammond, IN). The Ingots record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Hanover Central falls to 6-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Lake Station Edison (Lake Station, IN) to confront the Fighting Eagles in a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. The Fighting Eagles go into the game with a record of 4-8.
