The Munising Mustangs basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Newberry Indians to 57 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now possess a 11-2 record. They play next when they host Ishpeming for a non-league game on Friday, January 24.

With the loss, Newberry falls to 7-5 on the campaign. The Indians host Pickford (Pickford, MI) to confront the Panthers in a Eastern Upper Peninsula game on Friday, January 24. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 10-1. Pickford won 65-14 in their recent league game against Engadine (Engadine, MI)
