In Wednesday's non-league test, the Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL), by a score of 69-49.
Next, the Tigers encounter the Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL) in a SouthWest Prairie test, on Thursday, January 23. Plainfield North will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Steelmen come into the test with a 2-16 record after their 57-21 league loss to Oswego East (Oswego, IL).
The Redhawks (7-13) will now prepare for their test against Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL). The Wildcats come into the DuPage Valley test with a 9-9 record. In their last test, Neuqua Valley beat Christ the King (Chicago, IL), 67-49, in a non-league test.
