The Peck Pirates (Peck, MI) basketball edged the host North Huron Warriors (Kinde, MI), 42-41 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to All Saints Central for a North Central Thumb bout on Friday, January 24. Peck will play a Cougars team coming off a 69-29 non-league loss to Hemlock (Hemlock, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 4-8.
With the loss, North Huron falls to 7-5 on the campaign. The Warriors host Akron-Fairgrove (Fairgrove, MI) to play the Vikings in a North Central Thumb bout on Wednesday, January 29.
