West Franklin Falcons (Pomona, KS) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Cair Paravel Lions (Topeka, KS), 30-28 in a league match.

With the victory, West Franklin advances its record to 4-7 on the year. The Falcons host Wabaunsee (Alma, KS) to face the Chargers in a Flint Hills match on Saturday, January 25. The Chargers enter the match with a record of 6-3.

The Lions now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mission Valley for a Flint Hills match on Thursday, February 6.
