The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Curie Condors (Chicago, IL) and the host Prosser Falcons (Chicago, IL), observed Curie's basketball team knock off Prosser by a score of 49-40.

The Condors (4-8) will now prepare for their challenge against King (Chicago, IL). The Jaguars come into the Chicago Public - Red Star challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, King prevailed over Hyde Park (Chicago, IL), 67-11, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Falcons encounter the Dyett Eagles (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Public - Red Star challenge, on Friday, January 24. Prosser will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 51-14 league win over Kelly (Chicago, IL).
