In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Shawnee Golden Eagles basketball team scored a good 78-61 triumph over the Jeffersontown Chargers.

The Golden Eagles (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Presentation (Louisville, KY). The Toppers go into the District 25 contest with a 2-3 record.

In their next game, the Chargers battle the Bullitt East Chargers (Mt. Washington, KY) in a District 24 contest, on Friday, January 24. Jeffersontown will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record.
