Nevada High School Basketball - Lowry crushes Pershing County

January 22, 2025: Lovelock, NV 89419

The Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV) basketball crushed the host Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV), 74-32 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Buckaroos now possess a 11-5 record. They play next when they host Spring Creek for a 3A Northern - East bout on Friday, January 24. Lowry will play a Spartans team coming off a 48-39 non-league win over Hug (Reno, NV). The Spartans record now stands at 8-8.

With the loss, Pershing County falls to 14-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Incline (Incline Village, NV) to play the Highlanders in a 2A Northern bout on Friday, January 24. The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 5-10. Incline lost 63-19 in their recent league bout against Yerington (Yerington, NV)
