The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Wilcox RVT Wildcats (Meriden, CT) and the host Maloney Spartans (Meriden, CT), observed Wilcox RVT's basketball team edge Maloney by a score of 47-41.

The Wildcats (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record.

In their next game, the Spartans encounter the Platt Panthers (Meriden, CT) in a Central Connecticut - South Colonial challenge, on Friday, January 24. Maloney will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record.
