Michigan High School Basketball - Swan Valley nips Nouvel Catholic Central

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Swan Valley Vikings basketball team scored a close 45-38 triumph over the Nouvel Catholic Central Panthers.
The Vikings (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Glenn (Bay City, MI). The Bobcats go into the Tri-Valley - East contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Glenn was tipped by Alpena (Alpena, MI), 52-50, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Valley Lutheran Chargers (Saginaw, MI) in a Tri-Valley - West Blue contest, on Friday, January 24. Nouvel Catholic Central will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Chargers go into the contest with a 5-6 record after their 55-16 non-league win over Carrollton (Carrollton, MI).
