In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Atkins Camels basketball team scored a big 71-27 triumph over the Parkland Mustangs.

The Camels (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 11-1 record. In their last contest, Ben L. Smith smashed Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 72-51, in a non-league contest.
