The Cougars (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Acalanes (Lafayette, CA). The Dons come into the challenge with a 14-4 record. In their last challenge, Acalanes prevailed over Alhambra (Martinez, CA), 56-32, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Broncos battle the Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, January 24. Northgate will attempt to improve on its 14-8 season record. The Matadors come into the challenge with a 5-15 record after their 51-41 league win over Ygnacio Valley (Concord, CA).
