Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD), 52-35 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Great Mills upgrades its record to 7-2 on the year. The Hornets travel to Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD) to face the Cavaliers in a non-league match on Friday, January 24. The Cavaliers enter the match with a record of 1-6.

The Chargers now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Charles for a non-league match on Friday, January 24. Lackey will face a squad coming off a 55-46 league win over Chopticon (Morganza, MD). The record now stands at 2-0.
