The Lakewood Cougars basketball team scored 88 points and limited the host Lummi Blackhawks to 51 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Cougars now have a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to Meridian for a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. Lakewood will confront a Trojans team coming off a 56-37 non-league loss to Lynden (Lynden, WA). The Trojans record now stands at 5-6.

With the loss, Lummi falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Blackhawks host Grace Academy (Marysville, WA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, January 24. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 2-6. Grace Academy lost 59-19 in their recent non-league game against Tulalip Heritage (Marysville, WA)
