The Grapevine Mustangs soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Lake Ridge Eagles to 1 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Colleyville Heritage for a 5A Region 1 District 6 bout on Friday, January 24. Grapevine will play a Panthers squad coming off a 1-1 non-league Creekview (Carrollton, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Lake Ridge moves to 2-4 on the year. The Eagles host Mansfield (Mansfield, TX) to play the Tigers in a 6A Region 1 District 3 bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Mansfield 1-1 in their recent non-league bout against Boswell (Fort Worth, TX)
