Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Butler County Bears (Morgantown, KY) and the host Allen County-Scottsville Patriots (Scottsville, KY), saw Butler County's basketball squad overcome Allen County-Scottsville by a tally of 62-49.

With the victory, Butler County improves its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Bears host Muhlenberg County (Greenville, KY) to play the in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The come into the challenge with a record of 3-15. Muhlenberg County lost 59-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Mayfield (Mayfield, KY)

Next up, the Patriots play the Franklin-Simpson Wildcats (Franklin, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Allen County-Scottsville will attempt to improve on its 2-14 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 70-36 league win over Logan County (Russellville, KY).
