Patrick Henry Patriots (Ashland, VA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Charles City Panthers (Charles City, VA), 80-60 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Patrick Henry upgrades its record to 4-10 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Henrico (Richmond, VA) to play the Warriors in a Capital bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 7-9. Henrico lost 81-49 in their recent league bout against Highland Springs (Highland Springs, VA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Carver College and Career Academy Wolverines (Chester, VA) in a Tidewater bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Charles City will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Wolverines come into the bout with a 13-2 record after their 55-44 non-league win over Sussex Central (Sussex, VA).
