The Cheboygan Chiefs basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Johannesburg-Lewiston Cardinals to 19 in the Chiefs non-league triumph on Monday.

The Chiefs now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Inland Lakes for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 25. Cheboygan will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 76-32 league win over Central Lake (Central Lake, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-3.

The Cardinals (0-10) will now prepare for their contest against Onaway (Onaway, MI). The Cardinals enter the Ski-Valley contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Onaway triumphed over Bellaire (Bellaire, MI), 78-60, in a league contest.
