Wilde Lake Wildecats (Columbia, MD) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Chesapeake Cougars (Pasadena, MD), 76-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Wilde Lake upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Wildecats travel to Howard (Ellicott City, MD) to play the Lions in a Howard County bout on Wednesday, January 25. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 4-6. Howard won 64-55 in their recent non-league bout against Edgewood (Edgewood, MD)

Next up, the Cougars play the Severna Park Falcons (Severna Park, MD) in a Anne Arundel County bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Chesapeake will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 56-48 league loss to Meade (Fort Meade, MD).
