Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Dixon Dukes & Duchesses (Dixon, IL) and the host Sycamore Spartans (Sycamore, IL), saw Dixon's basketball squad overcome Sycamore by a tally of 61-49.

With the victory, Dixon improves its record to 15-8 on the campaign. The Dukes & Duchesses host Winnebago (Winnebago, IL) to confront the Indians in a Big Northern challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 13-9. Winnebago won 45-16 in their recent non-league challenge against Marengo (Marengo, IL)

Next up, the Spartans confront the DeKalb Barbs (DeKalb, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 27. Sycamore will attempt to improve on its 8-15 season record. The Barbs come into the challenge with a 16-7 record after their 64-63 non-league win over Kaneland (Maple Park, IL).
