The Jeffers Jets basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Hancock Bulldogs to 31 in the Jets non-league triumph on Monday.
The Jets now sport a 11-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Houghton for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Jeffers will meet a Gremlins team coming off a 58-45 non-league win over Wright (Ironwood, MI). The Gremlins record now stands at 9-2.
The Bulldogs (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against West Iron County (Iron River, MI). The Wykons enter the non-league contest with a 0-12 record. In their last contest, West Iron County was routed by Westwood (Ishpeming, MI), 68-27, in a non-league contest.
