In Monday's non-league outing, the James River Midlothian Rapids (Midlothian, VA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Highland Springs Springers (Highland Springs, VA), by a margin of 65-59.
The Rapids (11-3) will now prepare for their outing against Wythe (Richmond, VA). The Bulldogs go into the Dominion outing with a 1-12 record. In their last outing, Wythe was tipped by Powhatan (Powhatan, VA), 72-53, in a league outing.
