The Ladysmith Lumberjacks (Ladysmith, WI) basketball knocked off the visiting Lakeland Thunderbirds (Minocqua, WI), 90-70 in Monday's non-league test.
The Lumberjacks (11-2) will now prepare for their test against Spooner (Spooner, WI). The Rails go into the Heart O'North test with a 1-12 record. In their last test, Spooner went down by Chetek-Weyerhaeuser (Chetek, WI), 81-40, in a league test.
The Thunderbirds now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they host Antigo for a Great Northern test on Friday, February 3.
