Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Ligonier Valley overwhelmed by Southmoreland

The Ligonier Valley Rams basketball team (Ligonier, PA), was overwhelmed 76-55 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Southmoreland Scotties (Alverton, PA)

The Scotties now possess a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valley for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 24. Southmoreland will confront a Vikings team coming off a 48-15 league win over Apollo Ridge (Spring Church, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 4-12.

The Rams (3-15) will now prepare for their battle against Burrell (Lower Burrell, PA). The Bucs come into the WPIAL 3A 3 battle with a 8-7 record. In their last battle, Burrell was overwhelmed by Shady Side Academy (Pittsburgh, PA), 50-44, in a league battle.
