Murfreesboro Rattlers (Murfreesboro, AR) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Mineral Springs Hornets (Mineral Springs, AR), 76-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Murfreesboro upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Rattlers host Mount Ida (Mount Ida, AR) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 4-7.

Next up, the Hornets clash with the Kirby Trojans (Kirby, AR) in a 1A Region 7 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Mineral Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 79-40 league win over Blevins (Blevins, AR).
