The Morris Central Mustangs routed the host Oxford Academy Blackhawks basketball team by a final score of 76-33 in Monday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Cherry Valley-Springfield Patriots (Cherry Valley, NY) in a Section 4 Tri-Valley game, on Tuesday, January 31. Morris Central will attempt to move on its 16-0 season record.
With the defeat, Oxford Academy moves to 2-10 on the year. The Blackhawks host Unatego (Otego, NY) to face the Spartans in a Section 4 Midstate game on Wednesday, January 25. The Spartans enter the game with a record of 6-5.
