Fans at Monday's league challenge between the South Kingstown Rebels (Wakefield, RI) and the host Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI), saw South Kingstown's basketball squad hold off Mt. Hope by a tally of 67-60.

With the victory, South Kingstown improves its record to 5-8 on the campaign. The Rebels host St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI) to confront the Saints in a Division 2 challenge on Wednesday, January 25. The Saints come into the challenge with a record of 7-4.

Next up, the Huskies confront the Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI) in a Division 2 challenge, on Wednesday, January 25. Mt. Hope will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 67-50 league loss to Johnston (Johnston, RI).
