New Jersey High School Basketball - Shabazz succumbs to Newark Collegiate Academy

The Newark Collegiate Academy Panthers topped the visiting Shabazz Bulldogs basketball team by a tally of 59-40 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Panthers now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Millburn for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 26. Newark Collegiate Academy will battle a Millers team coming off a 55-46 league win over Glen Ridge (Glen Ridge, NJ). The Millers record now stands at 8-7.
The Bulldogs (4-9) will now prepare for their battle against Nutley (Nutley, NJ). The Maroon Raiders go into the non-league test with a 4-12 record. In their last test, Nutley notched a victory over Montclair (Montclair, NJ), 59-45, in a non-league test.
