The West Monona Spartans basketball team (Onawa, IA), was nudged 68-62 in Monday's non-league battle with the host West Sioux Falcons (Hawarden, IA)
The Falcons now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Lyon for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 26. West Sioux will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 75-68 league loss to MOC-Floyd Valley (Orange City, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-4.
The Spartans (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Missouri Valley (Missouri Valley, IA). The Big Reds come into the non-league battle with a 7-8 record.
