Antigo Red Robins (Antigo, WI) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Shawano Community Hawks (Shawano, WI), 71-70 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Antigo upgrades its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Red Robins travel to Medford (Medford, WI) to play the Raiders in a Great Northern bout on Friday, January 27. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 4-11. Medford lost 45-24 in their recent non-league bout against Rice Lake (Rice Lake, WI)

Next up, the Hawks play the Green Bay West Wildcats (Green Bay, WI) in a Bay bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Shawano Community will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record.
