The Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs (Hector, MN) basketball crushed the visiting Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City Falcons (Grove City, MN), 79-40 in Monday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (13-0) will now prepare for their test against Lester Prairie (Lester Prairie, MN). The Bulldogs go into the A Section 2 test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Lester Prairie was trounced by St. Mary's (Sleepy Eye, MN), 68-66, in a league test.
The Falcons now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Paynesville for a AA Section 3 test on Thursday, January 26. Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 45-43 non-league win over Kimball (Kimball, MN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-8.
