The Berthold Bombers basketball team (Berthold, ND), was nudged 55-51 in Monday's league battle with the host Bishop Ryan Lions (Minot, ND)
The Lions now possess a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Surrey for a B Region 6 District 12 battle on Thursday, January 26. Bishop Ryan will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 48-32 league loss to Des Lacs-Burlington (Des Lacs, ND). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-6.
The Bombers (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Westhope/Newburg (Westhope, ND). The Sioux come into the non-league battle with a 10-7 record. In their last battle, Westhope/Newburg was nudged by Bottineau (Bottineau, ND), 67-52, in a league battle.
