The Simon Kenton Pioneers basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the host Boone County Rebels to 35 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Monday.

The Pioneers now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Anderson County for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28. Simon Kenton will battle a Bearcats team coming off a 37-32 league loss to Spencer County (Taylorsville, KY). The Bearcats record now stands at 18-4.

The Rebels (4-15) will now prepare for their contest against Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY). The Braves come into the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Grant County was routed by Spencer County (Taylorsville, KY), 52-42, in a non-league contest.
