The Brentwood War Eagles (Sandersville, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Thomas Jefferson Academy Jaguars (Louisville, GA), 65-15 in Monday's non-league test.
The War Eagles (12-5) will now prepare for their test against Westminster Christian Academy (Watkinsville, GA). The Lions go into the GIAA AA Region 2 test with a 9-5 record. In their last test, Westminster Christian Academy walloped Lanier Christian Academy (Flowery Branch, GA), 62-21, in a non-league test.
The Jaguars now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they host John Hancock Academy for a GIAA A Region 4 test on Friday, January 27. Thomas Jefferson Academy will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 60-37 non-league loss to Twiggs Academy (Jeffersonville, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 1-11.
