South Dakota High School Basketball - Britton-Hecla can't hold off Deuel

The Deuel Cardinals basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Britton-Hecla Braves to 42 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Monday.
The Cardinals now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sisseton for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Deuel will battle a Redmen team coming off a 59-25 league win over Webster (Webster, SD). The Redmen record now stands at 9-0.
The Braves (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Leola/Frederick (Leola, SD). The Titans enter the B Region 1 contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, Leola/Frederick nudged Northwestern Area (Mellette, SD), 46-38, in a league contest.
