The Mt. Carmel Golden Aces basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Casey-Westfield Warriors to 19 in the Golden Aces league triumph on Monday.

The Golden Aces now sport a 12-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paris for a Little Illini contest on Thursday, January 26. Mt. Carmel will meet a Tigers team coming off a 40-38 league loss to Robinson (Robinson, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 22-3.

The Warriors (7-22) will now prepare for their contest against Lawrenceville (Lawrenceville, IL). The Indians enter the Little Illini contest with a 1-17 record. In their last contest, Lawrenceville was routed by Richland County (Olney, IL), 64-28, in a league contest.
