Ohio High School Basketball - Newton Local knocked off by Cedarville

The Cedarville Indians basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Newton Local Indians to 33 in the Indians non-league triumph on Monday.
The Indians now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greeneview for a Ohio Heritage contest on Wednesday, January 25. Cedarville will meet a Rams team coming off a 42-25 league loss to Greenon (Springfield, OH). The Rams record now stands at 5-5.
The Indians (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against National Trail (New Paris, OH). The Blazers enter the Western Ohio contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, National Trail was outscored by Brookville (Brookville, OH), 36-33, in a non-league contest.
