In Monday's non-league outing, the Cherokee Washington Braves (Cherokee, IA) basketball squad beat the visiting Northwest Webster Cougars (Manson, IA), by a count of 62-43.
The Braves (9-3) will now prepare for their outing against Storm Lake (Storm Lake, IA). The Tornadoes go into the Lakes outing with a 6-7 record. In their last outing, Storm Lake was topped by Estherville Lincoln Central (Estherville, IA), 70-31, in a league outing.
