The Chisholm Bluestreaks (Chisholm, MN) basketball crushed the visiting McGregor Mercuries (McGregor, MN), 79-28 in Monday's non-league test.
The Bluestreaks (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Ely (Ely, MN). The Timberwolves go into the A Section 7 test with a 14-2 record. In their last test, Ely walloped Bigfork (Bigfork, MN), 50-43, in a league test.
The Mercuries now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they host Carlton for a non-league test on Thursday, January 26. McGregor will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 87-19 league loss to South Ridge (Culver, MN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-12.
